Hanson Roberts Tarot Deck Knowledge Base
Is the Hanson-Roberts tarot deck good for beginners to learn with? I've heard that the Rider-Waite deck is very good for beginners, like me, to start learning to read tarot cards with. However, I wasn't really into the artwork. Don't get me wrong, the art is lovely but I don't think that deck is for me. I was looking around for other tarot decks ( http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ was very helpful) and the Hanson-Roberts deck caught my eye. I want to use this deck and I know that choosing a deck should be based on how you feel about it, and I have a good feeling about this one. I'm just not sure if it is good to learn with. What do you think? I'm open all answers, but not ones that are totally irrelevant and rude. Ok, thanks!
Hanson-Roberts Tarot? I was visiting someone over the summer and accidentally left my tarot cards with them. I won't be able to visit them again for a very long time so I decided to get a new deck. The one I had was a Hanson-Roberts deck and I loved it. It was by far my favorite tarot deck. (I also have the Mystic Faerie Tarot deck and the Egyptian Tarot deck, and a set of regular playing cards that I am able to use) I want to buy a new Hanson-Roberts deck, but I am not sure which one to get. The one I had came with the Essential Book of Tarot, and I really did like that book. It didn't go into as much detail as I would have liked, but it did give the reverse meaning for the cards. So now I am torn between getting the Hanson-Roberts Tarot Gift Set which includes The Essential Book of Tarot by Rosalind Simmons or buying The Hanson-Roberts Tarot Deck and Book Set which has a book written by Laura Carson. I honestly have researched the two, but can't find much information on the differences between the two books. Which one do you prefer or recommend and why?
Just got my first tarot deck, still looking for the one I connect with? I recently bought my first tarot deck, just the Tarot To Go!, which is the Hanson-Roberts deck. It's not bad, but I don't really connect with it. I actually didn't really connect with any of the decks that I looked at in the store. I was wondering if anybody could recommend me a deck, especially one with large cats such as tigers and lions. How did you find that deck that you connect with?
Tarot 1 card spread: Should I tell him that I like him? I'm crush on a boy. I myself feel that I'm not deserved with him. He's so hot at school like a prince while I'm not beautiful and charming enough. Should I tell him? I did a spread and I got "5 of cups". I use Hanson Robert deck. 5 of cups shows "regret". That means I will regret if i tell him or I will regret if I don't? Please help me, thanks!
