Feng shui anyone? I know one of the rules for feng shui is not to have anything heavy hanging on the wall above your bed. I have a heavy mirror with a shelf ( looks like a window ) i have moved it around my apt but i feel it looks best above my bed. Is there anything i can do to counter this "bad chi"? like hanging a crystal or something? Also..if it looks right and "feels" right for it to be above my bed wouldn't that be enough in the world of feng shui?
What do you think Filipinos should do or to improve on to make them more distinguishable from other Asians? It is known that Filipinos are influenced by few colonizers, most notably, Spaniards, Americans, Chinese, Indians and Japanese. As a result, there is not really something one can call to be uniquely Filipino, or at least something that's known the world over. Take for instance, is Philippines' ADOBO as well-known as Japs' SUSHI and SASHIMI or Italy's SPAGHETTI ? Take another example, can you associate BOXING to the Philippines as how most people associate MUAY THAI KICKBOXING to Thailand? Of course the answer is no, since boxing never started at all in the Philippines, right? By far, I say, our greatest contribution perhaps to the world, is MANNY PACQUIAO's success which I say will not be as lasting as what CHINESE have shared to the world: Feng Shui, Chopsticks, Bruce Lee, the omnipresent Chinese Food, ChinaTowns in most metropolis, and hundreds of others. India is far better, KAMA SUTRA, for a short time, became known to people worldwide. Filipinos, wake up!
Feng Shui - How Important is your birthdate? My birthdate is 4/4/44! I have never had much luck or happiness in my life. As a matter of fact my life has been very difficult. I have always wondered if my birth date had something to do with that and if so, how in the world could I change my luck. I am moving into a new house at the end of the month and would really like to have some happiness for a change. Are there any steps I can take to help change my life pattern?

Animal Crossing: Feng Shui question; I've only found gyroids for a whole week!? In Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS, can your feng shui mess up the odds of what you dig up each day? I just put in a bunch of items to my newly added 3rd bedroom (mostly plants) and for the past week now, I keep digging up gyroids instead of fossils. JUST gyroids. Usually every day I'd dig up a couple of fossils, a pitfall seed and the occasional gyroid, but now it's all gyroids, all the time. I guess I should consider myself lucky, but I'm trying to complete my museum collection dangit! Is this normal, do I need to remove the items in my new room or should that not even be affecting this? Is it just a horribly freakish coincidence? Are there a few months where fossils just don't show up?
Maybe a silly question? Thanks? In feng Shui all compass directions same all over the world? Thanks feng shui for you has a lot of different directions, how accurate is it for example business, money, health etc? Thanks
Feng Shui Practitioners reply please... Feng Shui and my personal library, books and bookshelves? I am trying to incorporate Feng Shui techniques and activations throughout my new home and I am at a loss for thoughts on where to place all of my personal reading material? I own several hundred books dealing with everything from my line of work, to psychology and health, relationships, investing, self-help and on... I currently have 4 bookshelves and I am wondering how to organize my books throughout my home. Is there a technique to create the best chi flow from the books into my home and life?? Should I place business reference and motivation in my home office, relationship and intimate reads in my master bedroom and conversational, world culture etc in the family room? Any Feng Shui masters or practitioners with insight will be greatly appreciated. Also feel free to divulge any other prescriptions, recommendations or tips you have to offer. Thank You...
Is Feng Shui co-related with Confucianism? I'm working on a world history project and I was just wondering if Confucius's Teachings included the practice of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui, believe ot nor believe. All the alignment of this room didn't help him!? http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/100202/world/international_us_hongkong_wang Looks like the estate of the wealthiest woman Nina Wang will NOT go to this Feng Shui master! Now we know feng shui is fake
If you feng shui your apartment bedroom wrong, can it make you have insomnia? I have a 1 bed room 1 bath apartment on the second floor of my complex. My bed room has white walls but I've decorated the walls with a light yellow world map (because i like to travel), a Van Gogh "starry night" ( i love stars and the painting is soothing), a poster of "kissing the war goodbye" and some quotes on the wall. I have a midnight blue duvet for my goosedown and metallic yellow satin pillowcases 4 my pillows. Since I've feng shui-ed my apt, i have NOT been able to sleep like i used to. Before, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I'd pass out. Now, its a complete struggle. I dont know where my bed is facing but it faces the wall with the map and van gogh painting so i see these posters when i wake up. I USED to have just a white goose down and white pillows. Are the colors messing me up? What am i doing wrong?
How do I determine the eight directions of the Feng Shui Ba-Gua template in my bedroom? I am now in the process of renovating my bedroom, and would like to arrange it with some basic Feng Shui tips in mind. I've been doing a lot of reading about the Ba-Gua template, but I'm a bit confused about how to determine east, west, north, and south. Is the way I place my objects supposed to correspond with the cardinal directions of the world (my bedroom window is literally facing toward the west), or am I supposed to think of the entrance wall of my bedroom (where the door is), as an "imaginary south"? Should I start looking around my house for a compass?
Dragons. Metaphor, archetype, facilitators of feng shui? Pagans know about dieties and spirit world influences choosing you. It really seems silly to believe in dragons, but I have an invisible friend that is a dragon. A flight of fancy on my part but I am curious. Senility and craziness may be the answer but there are believers out there. Dragons are real but we can't see them. Can anyone educate me further on what do people who believe there are dragons, actually think they are.
I'm in College and do work in my small bedroom, What color should I paint the walls to enhance focus/calm? I want the Room to bring the sense of focus, but also tranquility (read: less anxiety), I know colors won't change the world but I have to paint the walls anyway (last tenant painted them neon orange... no idea why) so I would like to paint them with a purpose. I do lots of work in my room and every search on the internet was for bedroom or Office, well mine is both. I don't know much about feng shui, but I am open to all sugestions

helo my name is Ashok kumar.H.M and my date of birth is 09-11-1983.Can anyone suggest about my life and love ? Respected people of India and world, I am seeking your enlightened knowledge and advice on the basis of astrology or numerology or vaastu or feng shui or any other supernatural basis.I am asking seriously , please suggest me carefully and genuinely. If experts take the pains to give me answer I will be grateful for them. i dont know the exact time of birth but approximately evening 7oclock and place of birth is Bangalore,Karnataka,India.
What is one thing...? that you secretly enjoy, that none of your friends or your acquaintences know about? im secretly into climatology, astronomy, the supernatural, and feng shui. but, my friends think im a girly-girl, who would think of me as someone who is more interested in gawking at a guy, rather than someone who enjoys reading about all the wonderful phenomenas that occur within our world. :) i know it shouldnt be here, but this is the only group that's really on at night.
I'm starting a research project to prove or disprove astrology... tell me what you think.? Hypothesis : Those persons born during time periods in month units of the given year of which are designated sun signs will display neural activation when shown a stimulus of which is reported to be valued to that given sun sign by multiple consulting parties in the field of astrology. Testing against non-emotional and non-sun sign related stimuli the averaged presence of activation in the experimental group over the control groups would suggest that the sun sign congruent stimuli is more inherently recognizable to the individual than stimuli that is not reported as congruent to that person's sun sign. This data would lend credence to the Eastern philosophy of Astrology that is involved in many people's lives across the globe. Experimental design: -Experimental stimulus: A factor that is reported as valued by the sun sign of the participant. I.e. Those born between December 22 and January 19 will be flashed "Family." Those born between November 22 and December 21 will be flashed "independence." -Control Group: A factor that is not valued as well as mundane words will be flashed across the screen. I.e. December 22 and January 19 will be flashed "accomplishment" as well as "Sycamore." (Factors such as accomplishment are valued by Aries and Taurus, not by Capricorn). Methods: College students at a small, rural university in the Western United States will be offered extra credit points in Psychology courses they are taking at the time of the experiment. When the participants arrive they will be given a consent form to sign on which they will e asked to report their date of birth. This will be used to determine the sun sign they fall under. They will be asked to sit while the electrode cap is administered. After so the participants will be lead into the testing room. They will be instructed to remain as relaxed as possible so that baseline can be established. After this they will be asked to follow the instructions on the screen while an EGI EEG unit will record ERP stimulus-response patterns to the stimuli. From the date of birth given on the consent form the appropriate program will be loaded. Astrological profile congruent, non congruent and inert words will be flashed on the screen while the participant presses the computer keys 2 if they feel they value the word flashed and 1 if they do not value it. Two programs will be loaded for each profile, ( i.e, Capricorn_ A, Capricorn _ B ) in which the alternative program the participant will be prompted to press the computer keys 1 if they feel they value the word flashed and 2 if they do not value it. By this method any artifacts relate to the muscle or cortical activity of using ones hands can be accounted for. Once the participant has been removed from the machine and vacated the laboratory the data will be filtered and averaged in the prescribed manner using the E-Prime 1 program. Predicted outcome: On P300 or otherwise the response variable a statistically significant waveform will be present on the profile congruent fixations vs. the profile non congruent and inert fixations. This would suggest that there is an inborn set of traits that are correlated to the date of ones birth. Whether or not these can in fact be attributed to the practice of Astrology is not at this time measurable utilizing western scientific methods. The fact remains there is a mathematical correlation between personality traits and date of birth. Discussion: The issue with some Eastern philosophy in the western world is the lack of measurable facts. (cite needed) a noted psychic medium is quoted as saying "(in the west) if you can't eat it, kill it, or destroy it; it must not be so." However practices such as horoscopes and Feng Shui are part of the everyday lives of many people around the world. It is a matter of fact that every building in the city of Hong Kong faces the water and not the mountain as prescribed in the practice of Feng Shui. A notable story from medieval England is that king (cite needed) wanted to eradicate the crows from the tower of London due the noise they produce. He did not under the advice of his astrologer who said if the ravens disappear the tower will fall along with the monarchy. To this day the ravens are clipped to remain in the courtyard and also are entitled to the perks of an on site cemetery. To this day the tower and monarchy remain standing. These are simply anecdotes and do not prove anything. As I also believe many individual humans have an anecdote about how some type of philosophical practice has effected them. Until now the world has been happy to leave it at that; some people believe it and some people don't. As far as I have been able to fin there has been no scientific research backed by an accredited university that ahs put these practices to the test. Every October on Christmas Island the red crabs show up. By December they are gone. It cut me off with character limit but I hope this is enough to get the idea.
Is this a good 8th Grade Research Paper...due tomorrow!? Yin and Yang: My research paper is on the commonly seen, circular, black and white symbol divided symmetrically known as yin and yang. Many people think of the symbol as nothing more than another “peace” sign. In actuality, this symbol, yin and yang, reflects ancient Chinese philosophies that represent two conflicting, yet harmonizing energies that keep the world in balance when applied together. When either is used alone, imbalances are created. I have chosen to research on Yin and Yang because I, like many, have little knowledge on the subject (just the basic understanding of the two opposites) and wanted to know more. Through the knowledge I have gained I wish to inform you further on this subject. The history of Yin and Yang dates back many years ago. The first objects that it was known to be inscripted on were animal bones used in special Chinese ceremonies (oracle bones). It described how different objects, seasons, beings, colors, etc., were either more of a Yin energy or more of a Yang. In the first examples of Yin and Yang (unscripted on the oracle bones), it expressed how one side of the hill was Yin and one was Yang. The north side of the hill, represented Yin, due to the fact that it is facing away from the sun and is dark, and the south side of the hill represented Yang, because it would then be facing the sun. They also explained how Yin and Yang worked. Together, they balance the world and keep everything in harmony; this in turn keeps the world peaceful. The circle, in which the “yin and yang shapes” are formed, represents “everything” in the world, balancing the two opposites. Yin is quite different than Yang. Yin is the dark/ black side of the circle. It is represented by objects such as the moon, night, water, North, lead, female, even numbers, death, and obviously, the color black. Yin is considered the darker energy. Yang, in contrast, is the white side of the circle. It, unlike Yin, represents light, sun, south, male, odd numbers, day, and life. There are different types of living habits that incorporate the belief of Yin and Yang to enhance balance which allows those individuals to live a harmonious life. Feng Shui, macrobiotic diets, and some Chinese food preparation are some examples of how the use of the same concepts of Yin and Yang can help create a happier and more relaxing life. Feng Shui enhances the balance and harmonious aspect of Yin and Yang. It began about 3,000 years ago in China. This belief of harmony is the use colors, furniture positioning, and items in the rooms of your house to create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for someone to live in (incorporating Yin and Yang guidelines). For example, it teaches that the bedroom should be more of a Yin, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere (the example of Yin) consisting of colors considered “skin tones.” These colors are relaxing. Some of these colors include: cocoa, tan, peach, coral, and cream. To ensure that you receive positive energy from these techniques, it suggests that you: keep your room clean, have little electronics present, which you should keep away from where you sleep, that your bed positioning matches up with the Feng Shui chart (certain colors and objects in either the north, south, east, and west position), and have as few mirrors, or none, present in the room. A macrobiotic diet, like the vegetarian diet, is once again, one that allows and excludes certain foods to keep balance and purity in the foods eaten. This diet is very strict, yet not considered vegetarian, (even though there are no meats or dairy allowed), because individuals using the macrobiotic diet will eat some seafood and fish. This diet completely eliminates foods such as oranges and other tropical fruits as well as spices because these foods would contribute too much of the Yin energy at one time. The same goes for dairy and meat products because there is too much Yang within these two food groups. Foods that are allowed in the macrobiotic diet include: whole grain products, fresh vegetables, legumes, and occasionally seafood and fish. In Chinese cooking, Yin and Yang principals are used to keep everything balanced. Texture, color, and flavors are combined in specific ways. Some Yin foods include: carrots, duck, cabbage, and tofu. Whereas, Yang foods include: beef, chicken, eggs, and wine. The foods must be cooked in a special way (i.e. poached, steamed, deep fried, etc.) with the opposite type of food (Yin foods with Yang cooking techniques and vise versa). It is believed that when there are imbalances of Yin and Yang, at any given time, it can result personal disharmony ranging from mood swings to being more prone to illness and disease, to even death. Though a drastic result, death could occur. For example, if someone understanding what disharmony of self these imbalances create, then becomes so paranoid trying to keep things balanced, further imbalances him or herself. Imbalances of Yin and Yang create disharmony umm. I just copied and pasted my report. I was just wondering if it was bad, good, needed something, ect..

It would be all psychological, of course, but it could happen. It also can affect the environment ranging from drastic te
Do you know this about moslems? I’d be interested in comments to your reaction Designing Public Restrooms for Different Cultures Designing Public Restrooms for the Muslim Culture Reprinted from the Jan 2002 issue of Bathroom Today “Let’s go!” Its as easy as it sounds for some, but the common, everyday practice of going to the bathroom could be a world of complexity for others. The world presents requirements way beyond the so-called basic need. Culture, tradition, religion, superstition and feng shui are just a few of many influences that affect people’s everyday lives. For architects and designers to build restrooms people will be happy to use, these not-so-basic requirements should be regarded carefully. Though these beliefs are often identified with the past— backwardness and poverty, while progress is borrowed from well, the West (take a quick look at your “Western-style” toilet!), they are still major influences on how people conduct their everyday affairs, and should not be left without proper consideration or reflection. Tan Kok Hiang, Partner of Singapore-based Forum Architects articulated this requirement best when he inferred, “Any community has sensitivities. The challenges faced (by architects) are no different from designing for any other group of people. One just has to be very respectful and understand that things have different levels of importance to different groups of people.” One such group of people who have special requirements when it comes to using restrooms are Muslims, who make up one billion of the world population. This figure represents 20 percent of people around the globe, making Islam the second largest religion in the world. Muslims’ faith to Allah (an Arabic word which means the One True God) and the Islam religion mold their being, and guide them despite changes. Their practices are based on teachings in the Qur’an (an Arabic word which means the Word of God), as revealed to the Prophets. The religion also outlines certain toilet behavior and manner when using the restroom. Thus, it is important to understand the Islamic toilet etiquette if one intends to design restrooms for Muslim users. The following are some important considerations in the design of restrooms for this group of users. Muslim’s toileting practices could be compounded into six areas— entering, seclusion, the prohibition of facing the Qiblah (which is the Ka’abah in Mecca), squatting, cleaning and stepping out. Entering The Qur’an states that one should enter the restroom with left foot first while saying a prayer of protection. It is not permissible to enter a restroom while carrying anything that bears the name of Allah, such as the Qur’an, or any book with the name of Allah in it, or jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces engraved with the name of Allah. Muslims should keep silent when in the restroom. Thus, talking, reading, greeting others and answering greetings are not to be done inside the restroom except for risky situations, like guiding a disabled person. Seclusion “When the Prophet felt the need of relieving himself, he went far off where no one could see him”. It is implied that one should be out of sight, thus doors of toilets should be securely closed. Privacy is therefore a major requirement when providing restroom facilities for Muslim users. Muslim women specifically have problems with Western-style public restrooms because they find stalls with gaps between the floor and wall too immodest. This makes installation of floor-to-wall dividers and louvered doors a necessity. Prohibition facing the Qiblah Islam prohibits facing the Qiblah while defecating. The Prophet said “if you go to defecate, do not face the Qiblah nor turn your back toward it. Instead, you should turn to your left side or your right side”. Some scholars believe that this forbiddance only applies in open areas. According to them, when in an enclosed area, or as long as there is something shielding one’s body, there is no harm in facing the Qiblah. Another more accepted opinion says that it is something forbidden in both open and enclosed areas and it is best to refrain from doing so as much as possible out of respect for the Qiblah. Determining the Qiblah in an area designated to be the restroom and working around it could therefore be considered a requirement when designing toilets for Muslim users. Squatting Muslims are encouraged to urinate while sitting or squatting and not while standing since this was the usual practice of the Prophet. Although standing is not forbidden as the Prophet is also reported to have done so. Squatting or sitting is said to be better since it is healthier for the body and there is less chance of urine splashing onto one’s body or clothes. Islam strictly prohibits direct contact with urine and feces as these are considered impure. The Prophet once passed by two graves and and said “Both are being punished. They are not being punished for major (sins). One did not shi

Why don't we allow the CIA to do one of the things it was originally formed to do? A well-timed "accident" befalling people like Hugo Chavez, Robert Mugabe, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would save the world a lot of trouble and potentially a lot of bloodshed. People who are against this line of reasoning would be well-served to put down their copy of "Feng Shui For Dummies" or whatever they're reading these days and pick up a copy of Machiavelli's "The Prince". While it might not be all warm and fuzzy, it's as valid today as it was the day it was written. michael: Sorry, but the prohibitiopn goes back to sen. Frank Church, a thoroughly evil Dem from Idaho who emasculated the intelligence services during the '70's. load up: Read up on the Church Commission. In the good old days, someone like Ahmadinejad wouldn't have been the thorn in the side of the US that he is today, as he would have met with an untimely end long before now. jp: See, the difference between you and me is that I couldn't give a rat's posterior what anyone else thinks of us. It's completely and utterly immaterial. Machiavelli was right: In the game of states, it's MUCH better to be feared than to be loved. If you think ANY country has "friends", you're sadly mistaken. Churchill hit the nail on the head when he maintained that Britain doesn't have friends, Britrain has interests. The same is true of ALL nations. We need to be Moe to the rest of the world's Larry and Curly. If we're not the ones clunking heads together, we'll be the ones having our heads clunked. jp: I don't have a Three Stooges worldview. It's called making a point. You might want to try it some time.
I like to have loving-consciousness home with my folks and they are not very open minded.? I'm 32 and I still live at home with my parents. My parents bring up all my errors and faults. (they make very sad and depressed) My goal in life was to have Thriving Soul. Every holiday feels the same for me because, I feel depressed and alone. This year I need change please help me! I like to create a home to be based on feng shui. I feel my home has karmic clutter on the inside. I like to with peaceful and harmonious? Our own minds, full of dissonant chatter and confusion, are the source of our insecurity. Our actions arise from our thoughts, from our feelings. If we are full of fear, how can we hope for a loving world family?
My girlfriend won't help keep the house clean or compromise on anything. What should I do.? So I have been with my girlfriend for about 9 months and we decided to live together to save money. Any time I ask her to help with the house work or to try to communicate without yelling or to basically act like an adult, she gets really defensive like it's the end of the world. Now she is saying I talk to much and always complain. I think if she would put more effort into or relationship as far as compromising on little things then I wouldn't complain. I am a really nice guy, I open doors for her and take her out to dinner and I don't want to be the house cleaner too (I will do half though). She says she love me but won't compromise and tries to control the relationship through manipulation. I think she can't control her emotions and acts immaturely and can't express herself without yelling (and throwing things when she's really mad.) I don't think she cares cause if she knows that I can't stand the house being a TOTAL F#*%ING MESS then why won't she compromise if she loved me. I believe in Feng shui and I like a clean house. It effects my energy. Clutter doesn't bother her. Should I break up with her? I think she is borderline because her moods are shifty and she acts like I am the enemy and competes with me. Oh and she is also threatened by my intelligence (she's insecure) I know this is a lot but I need advice. I want to leave but I love her, and don't want to be emotionally abused. I'm 28 and she's 25 Thanks in advance. I have reserched borderline personality disorder.
Here Is My Proposal To The BCCI To Turn The Fortunes Of Our Team Around? I thought of a few points that would hopefully banish the demons surrounding Indian cricket in the T20 format. Firstly, revert back to our old sky blue jersey, thats how we won the inaugural edition of World T20. MS should revert back to his previous hairstyle with flowing locks. Field positions should be based on Vaastu Shastra or Feng Shui, which will lessen the workload of MSD. Cheerleaders at India matches should be South African or Ukrainian, like in the IPL. The Carribean ones dont seem to be bringing the best out of guys like Murali Vijay and Yusuf Pathan. Can you suggest some other tactics or strategies which can be added in the proposal??? If you havent realised by now, this qn is asked in jest to lighten the mood of my fellow Indian fans. Too much gloom since yesterday...
hmm what can i do??? I have had the incredible good sense to get knocked up with [my Asian boyfriend's mothers] grandson, due in January. I live with the baby’s father now, and consequently that means I live with her, too. I should note that it’s also fortunate for me there is a significant language barrier. To date, I have endured: my clothes being hidden, replaced with strange clothes, rearranged -being chaperoned to my OB visits (where she like to play with the reproductive flip charts and ask in broken English what part does what) – eating God knows what because it’s good for pregnant women and I am not nearly the size I should be to give her the size grandson she needs to save face in the Chinese community for having fed me the last months of the pregnancy – attempted molestation with a towel to demonstrate “nipple toughening” (this was a situation where the language barrier was not to my advantage) – opening of my mail – crib feng shui – and the latest adventure, roaming the halls of Babies R Us doing a baby registry. Neither she nor the baby’s father are (openly) unkind to me; and I have to admit, not being allowed to do housework and being stuffed like a Christmas goose aren’t the worst things in the world. It’s just that I have lived here two months and I don’t feel any closer to adjusting to the dynamic than before, and if nothing else wanted to provide some entertainment and gain some insight to someone who does understand the culture and could give me some perspective? One side note (if it makes a difference to my tale) we aren’t married. And at the moment, the thought of this life (for the rest of my life) is hard to fathom. Do the Chinese have it wrong? I don’t think so — look at where the push for independence has left the majority of American families. There just has to be a happy medium somewhere … If nothing else, someone somewhere has to be going through what I am going through? Right? Right? I guess I just need an answer to one question: is there hope for compromise, or does one just need to bow down to the all powerful Asian grand/mother?

Brilliant, beautiful humans from India - all nations comments welcome - what do you think of this home? http://finance.yahoo.com/real-estate/article/104984/Inside-the-World's-First-Billion-Dollar-Home ??? Nice to see in Paragraph 11 "85% ... will come from India." Looks like a bad science fiction ghetto crack house of cards to me. I'm an artist, not an architect, am I missing something? Get the idea of Feng Shui sort of, don't practice it know a little about Hinduism, don't practice that either, interesting mix? Or is this an overindulgence of extravagant spending at the detriment of all the working class people out there? Enlighten me, please. Thank you for your thoughtful comments. If you must be rude please include humor or subtle punns...I'm easily entertained. thanks beauties! gran, gran, gran. Blessed Be, sister, white light....
Why should I continue to breathe? I'm curious. Can I tell you about the person I used to be? She was amazing. She was kind, she was happy-go-lucky, she was funny, she was smart, she was beautiful. She honestly and truly loved the entire world, and everyone in it; she just wanted to make everyone happy. She was considered "gifted" and told that she'd be something great one day. She got on well with absolutely everyone she met, and had so many friends, every one of whom she loved to no end. Her favourite colour was orange, because it reminded her of sunsets and tangerines, and no matter what life threw at her, she continued to be as positive as ever. Now? Times change. I don't have the time to write about everything that happened to me, and I severely doubt there's anyone out there who wants to hear about it anyway. The outcome of it all was Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - you know, that thing that soldiers get in the wars? As far as I was aware, if you go through something huge with a person, that gives you a special bond. I've seen my friends suffer some terrible things, and I always, always walked every step of the way with them. Always. It turns out I was wrong. Things don't work both ways; they don't want to be friends with Sad Lucie. If I'm not "the usual, optimistic Lucie", then I'm worth nothing at all. So, all these terrible things that happened to me, I went through it alone. And you know, the only thing keeping me going is my imagination. I imagine that if I keep trying hard to make myself a better person, someday, somehow, something or someone will suddenly appear, and I'll be loved again. By someone. Anyone. But let's face it: some people are meant to be alone. If you don't believe that, you're a fool. So, here's the current situation. No friends, no-one to call who would care. In the past two weeks, I have taken to scratching my wrists with a nail, as razors scare me. I haven't eaten anything but a chapatti and the toppings of a slice of pizza. I'm taking fluoxetine, but the dose is so low (20mg) that it means nothing. I used to drink vodka to curb my anxiety so I could leave the house, but I always hated doing that; now I just don't leave the house at all. The doctors are useless, I've visited three different ones in the past week because my own doctor doesn't seem to have the time. My consellor is a sixty year old Hawaiian bullshitter who insists that she can't give me therapy for my PTSD because I have to go to court in April and "it's best to be as emotional as you can". Instead, she consistently alerts me as to what colour my aura is and offers me advice on making my bedroom feng shui. I try to sleep through the night, but find it mostly impossible; when I do, I'm prone to nightmares and vivid dreams about heartbreaking things. I don't even care about myself enough to keep myself clean. That's only half of the story - and I deserve all of it. So tell me; why SHOULD I continue to breathe? No, you're absolutely right. Coming on here and trying to talk about it all is selfish and pathetic. Thank you for answering my question.

Is stealing toilet in public restroom bad feng shui? She she lives with us since last year, and when we go to restaurants/mall,she always manage to take more napkins than she needs and stuff it in her purse.Lately, she has been stealing toilet paper in public restrooms also.I've told her it's bad feng shui, toilet paper is for wiping after people goes to the restroom thus it's a "dirty" item so to speak, and she refuses to listen to me. Will this habit effect feng shui her or her family? I've ignored it because l wanted to give her some slack...she 's in her 80s and live through 2 world wars.
what is feng shui? world studies project, please help!
when are these terrorists going to learn? it seems to me that terrorists no longer have any common decency or manners anymore.. they just seem to go about about their ways completely oblivious to those around them.. does anyone else feel this same way? like, for example, i was driving my suv on the highway on the way to get this special dog shampoo that is supposed to, like, make everything in my world and my precious lil snooky wookies world very feng shui, and this terrorist, like, totally cut me off and, like, blew up his car and everyone elses around us, and he totally stopped traffic.. its like "HELLO??? DON'T YOU SIGNAL?" ughhh.. stupid terrorists.. i wish they would just learn some manners and just to let icu-nurse and everyone know, because i know youre wondering, NO, I DID NOT GET MY FENG SHUI SHAMPOO!! by the time i got out of traffic the store was closed and i had to pick up my socks from the drycleaners i apologize square circle, this may have been a little insensitive, but i was really hoping to not only make people laugh in a time that it seems difficult to, but also to point out how disconnected some people are to the world and the troubling issues in it that affect all of us
help! animal crossing wild world? How do you know what items are what colours and where to put them for feng shui? i think my room is so bad the hra just wont score me! i joined weeks ago and havent heard anything aff them!
Differences between Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing GC? Ok, so I know there are some minor differences like A few different Characters and the gate thing and such. I own BOTH games (or at least I used to one the GC version, but I lost that about a year ago) and I love them, but what I really want to know, is are there major differences between the two? When you answer, take into consideration that I own/owned both games at some point, so answers like, there are no more acres, its just one big free-roaming map are a given. One thing I'd really like to know, is that does Wisp Make an apperance? For those who don't know, Wisp was the ghost that appeared randomly around 2:00 am. You had to catch 5 spirits with your bug-catching net, and then you could shoose weather to have all the weeds pulled, a random item you don't have, or have your roof painted. Also, is the Feng Shui the same as before (North - Orange, Green - South, Red - East, Yellow - West) Thanks!

Animal Crossing City Folk question(s)? BUGS. Does anyone have any "specific" tips on catching an Orchid Mantis, Diving Beetle, Scorpion, Tarantula, Bagworm? I have the guide for when and where to catch them, but they don't seem to show up. Does anyone know if the Orchid Mantis likes a specific flower, or any in general? Does anyone know the sounds these bugs make, that I should listen for? Does getting a bug or fish from someone else count as "Catching" one. If so, does anyone wanna sell me some rare bugs. I'll price for them. GOLDEN AXE. I also need a Golden or silver axe. I know HOW to do it, but I've had a fountain for a long time and I never get anything but my axe back or she keeps it. Any suggestions on WHEN to throw it, or specific things she wants to hear? PERFECT TOWN. I know there can be 200 trees, but it seems like every one I try to plant never grows. Does anyone know a pattern to plant trees, like how many spaces away from another object, or what areas are more likely to grow trees? FENG SHUI. Does anyone know if the Feng Shui guide for Animal Crossing is similar or the same as in Wild World. I used the guide and got high points from the HRA, but it seems like with all the rare stuff I have, I should be seeing more rarer items, characters, fish, and bugs. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
