Do any other astrology lovers also do tarot? 10pt best answer?

If you do my question is do you use astrology in your tarot readings? I have found alot of the time its very much needed and really helpful in explaining people to the person im sitting down with im almost always nail on the head with my readings. I also use the majors as signs in some cases as my boyfriend often comes up as The Devil being capricorn, and I know the Love Card comes up for me sometimes as I'm Gemini sun. I use elements Swords being intellect, problems, troubles air signs are associated with thinking and with troubles involving a wide variety. Wands-social and work related, challenges travel this would out right be fire signs as even the cards usually have red/orange wands Cups- love and emotions as Water because water signs have this tendency. Pents-money and health Earth element most earth signs are worried about money and health. I feel like I would not be able to read the cards with out the use of elements and astrology though i know some use it some dont. What do you do just strictly intuition or do you use astrology as well? i could give you a ton of spreads if youd like me to email them to you with descriptions and where to place the cards also

1. im a begining tarot user - i baught my first deck a few months ago - i use both when im explaining it - when i practice my readings i use astrology to explain to the person im reading so it helps them identify - i dont think im as good as articulating it as you - when i do readings on this gemini guy i had a crush on i always got the 'lovers' card which made me think he has choices to make - when i use it on my mum always got the 'devil card' as i know she suppress things. i think i might do a tarot workshop to further my development because at the moment im usually always doing the celtic cross spread and im having problems explaining the cards in contexts.........
2. If you would count it, I've had my deck since 7th grade(I'm in college now) and I used to just stare at the cards in amazement at the details and symbolism in each card. Though, I barely use my deck, I'm trying to touch it more, but I always try to get myself away from it. It's like a duel for me.I always get a feeling of something, not sure what when I start paying attention to it and it kind of scares me a bit. I still love my deck though and strictly intuition I guess, since I never considered astrology being much into it. Though you're right because the cards sometimes do connect to astrological symbols in the picture details.
