What brand of incense do you find to be the best?
I've tried a few and most just tend to smell of smoke. Yes, I realise that there is a bit of smoke involved but there must be a brand of incense that actually smells like what it says it's supposed to smell of!

- incest is illegal
- LOL For a second I thought your question read What brand of Intercourse do you find the best! Dirty mind? Me?
- try a reed diffuser. that's a bottle of liquid fragance that you open and put (the included) reeds in, like straws in a soda bottle. no flame, so no smoke, also no danger from having a flame going. my mother in law gave my daughter one and it really smelled nice
- Look out for a brand called "Joie" They come in loads of different flavours Failing that, you can't go wrong with nag champa
- There is a Japanese brand I use called Nippon Kodo. Generally, Japanese incenses are less smoky and ideal for small rooms, and as offerings for shrines. You can get them from most Asian Chinese food stores. Nippon Kodo incense is sold in packs of 50 sticks but they can be snapped in half for smaller sticks, and burn for around 25mins. They don't use wood. The varieties are Patchouli, Amber, Jasmine, Sea Spray, Plum, Cinnamon, to name a few. Indian incenses tend to be smoky and very pungent, and are rolled on a stick of wood, and create lots of smoke. However, they are ideal as air fresheners in kitchens and large rooms, once the smoke has cleared!
- Without a doubt, nag champa is the best incense out there!
- i have read studies that support the idea that incense is toxic. there is a reason it smells of smoke! you are burning a chemical substance in your house, not laying down rose petals. if you want your house to smell nice, bake cookies/biscuits/cakes, stew something, or even simmer spices in an open pan on the stove. or, use fresh pine branches in vases, real flowers, or dried flowers with real rose or other essence on them.
